Come slip away to our Orchard on beautiful Orcas Island. On an acre and a half of land you will find various apples, pears, cherries, plums and blueberries (based on the season). An oversized yard for playing sports, family games or maybe simply watching the local deer roam around or the gaze at the beautiful stars at night.
The home features 3 bedrooms plus an additional Bonus room that features a king size bed, a small living area and office area with a desk, chair and printer. There are 2.5 bathrooms, a laundry room, formal dining area, kitchen and living room with a cozy wood burning fireplace that will warm the entire 2100 square foot home. There is plenty of room for everyone.
If you prefer to be outside, come soak in the 6-person hot tub. We keep it in pristine condition and heated all year round. Once you're done soaking stay nice and warm around the firepit with a nice cacao or glass of wine and breathe in the clean Orcas air.
There are so many exciting things to do! Just a short walk into our little Hallmark village you'll find astonishing chefs curating mouthwatering dishes, local artists composing jewelry and paintings, Bakers and gift shops. There is a grocery store and a co-op and during the first week of May till the last weekend in September in the village green (the heart of Eastsound you'll find our farmers Market. Don't forget to book a tour for whale watching, kayaking or perhaps your favorite book

About the Owner

Hi there! I’m Kristen, and I’ve had the pleasure of managing this home since 2021. I recently started my own private hosting business, and I’m so excited to continue welcoming guests — whether you’ve stayed here before or are visiting for the first time. I’m originally from Canada and have lived in Nebraska and the Seattle area before putting down roots and starting a family here on Orcas Island. I absolutely love calling this place home and feel truly fortunate to raise my daughter on such a beautiful island. When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the beach, out on the lake, or in the kitchen cooking and canning. Last year, I even made several jars of applesauce and plum preserves from the fruit trees right here on the property- so delicious! I’m always happy to help make your stay as comfortable and memorable as possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions or special requests, I’m here to help!

The home has two full bathrooms and one powder room. The primary ensuite although on the main level and having no steps has a very deep tub basin to get into the bath/shower combo.
The shower may be turned on be pulling the ring at the bottom of the faucet.
All bathrooms are stocked with fluffy navy towels, make-up towels, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. We stock 3 rolls of toilet paper, lotion, bobby pins, cotton swabs and q-tips.

This Primary is the only bedroom on the main floor, it features a private bathroom and large walk-in closet. You will also find a pack n play and the highchair for use if needed during your stay.
There is a smart TV, fan and a dresser. The windows have blackout curtains.
The second King and fourth Queen room have a bed, dressers and closets with additional pillows.
The third King bedroom is an oversized room, featuring a work desk and chair with a printer, a love seat, coffee table, dresser and smart TV. There is a wardrobe rack to hang clothes. This is a great room if you love to spread out.
